A 2.5-foot recessed or surface-mount downlight engineered for transit corridors where 600VDC traction-power is the available feed. Adds a 4-hour battery backup so the egress level survives complete power loss to the third rail or catenary.

In subway tunnels and rail corridors, running AC mains the full length of an alignment is often impractical. The SL3923-79 takes 600VDC traction-power as its primary input — the same DC bus that drives the trains. A 4-hour battery backup carries the fixture through full system de-energization for evacuation. Marine-grade enclosure, polycarbonate lens, stainless hardware.
