A sealed worklight engineered for the hardest environments
The LED Portable Lamp Bank is a tunnel-grade temporary lighting unit deployed by NYCT, MTA, LIRR, NJ Transit, and contractors performing shutdown work near energized infrastructure. Available in two variants: an AC unit accepting standard utility power, and a high-voltage (HV) unit accepting third-rail or catenary DC voltages directly — no inverter required.

Utility-Powered Variant
Standard 90–305 VAC input for use with shore power, generators, and temporary distribution. Drop-in replacement for halogen string lights and metal-halide tower banks.

High-Voltage DC Variant
Direct-tap to third-rail or catenary voltage. Eliminates need for generators or inverters during shutdown work — tap the rail directly, light up the work zone.

Built for one-person carry, multiple per worker
The PLB-01 enclosure is sealed extruded aluminum — rugged enough for daily tunnel deployment, light enough at 8–10 lbs that a single technician can carry two or three at a time. Twist-lock cord connectors, integrated handles, and a uniform LED bar across the bottom give crews the working light they need without the heat, fragility, or generator dependency of halogen string lights.
