Lighting locations cast directly into the slab

The CDB1 ships in three components — a top plate, a chamber body, and a bottom mounting plate. The full assembly drops into formwork before the pour, locking the FLEX SLS bus path into the deck. After cure, top plate comes off, modules drop in, and the FLEX SLS 27.5VDC bus line is routed through the embedded chamber. No coring, no surface conduit, no patching.

  • ✓ Three-piece pre-pour kit (top + chamber + bottom plate)
  • ✓ Accepts FM2A, FM10A, and FM30A FLEX SLS modules
  • ✓ Embedded directly during concrete pour
  • ✓ Class 2 / 27.5VDC operation — no lock-out / tag-out
  • ✓ Speeds rough-in for the electrical crew

Pour-day install workflow

CDB1 changes lighting from a finish-out trade to a structural pre-pour activity. The benefit shows up downstream when the rest of the build accelerates.

3

Bus line

Once cured, top plate lifts off, 27.5VDC bus line is fed through the chamber and tied to neighbors.
